Research Driven Interior Design (RDID)
The Research Driven Interior Design (RDID) program has been accredited by the apex body of Interior Design, namely Institute of Indian Interior Designers and is declared as IIID recommended program with 4 star rating. The Research Driven Interior Design Course (RDID) at Brick School of Interior Design is 4 years full-time autonomous diploma course with an intake of 40 students per year. The course combines the techniques, trends, and concepts of interior design through an intuitive and sensorial approach towards a project.
The aim of the course is to train future designers who possess the ability to apply skills while interpreting and developing different projects like residential, commercial, retail, public spaces and exhibition design.
Students gain the technical knowledge to resolve construction space aspects and learn methodologies to develop a conceptual presentation through a correct representation of space.
The course approach is creative, intuitive, artistic, and technical and shared through various workshops and creative projects.
Students will grasp the technique to tell the story of a space depicting the mood, ambiance, technical plans, and illustrative interpretations. The course also encourages its students to explore independently through research application and creation.
