Brief Biography:
Pallavi Chitnis is an Environmental Architect. Her expertise includes climate responsive architecture, green building certification, energy simulation studies. She holds a master’s degree in Environmental Architecture & Planning. She is BEE Certified ECBC Master Trainer, LEED AP, IGBC AP, and WELL AP. Pallavi was working with Indian Green Building Council and was in-charge for certification activities of IGBC Healthcare Facilities Rating, IGBC Health & Wellbeing Rating System and IGBC’s LEED India NC and was involved in Facilitation, Assessment and Quality control (QC) of more than 150 commercial projects. She was a key team member involved in Research & Development of IGBC Green Schools Programme, IGBC Healthcare Facilities Rating and IGBC Health & Wellbeing Rating. She has also trained professionals in green building concepts and has thus far conducted more than 50 Training Programmes on green buildings all over the country. Pallavi has also worked with Royal Institute of Art, Sweden on ‘Inclusive India- Re: Pune’, with focus on climate oriented development guidelines.
