Sports form the energetic core of campus life, supporting physical well-being, teamwork, discipline, and community bonding. We believe that a well-rounded architectural education extends beyond studios and classrooms, and that play, movement, and collaboration are essential to shaping balanced, confident professionals.

The heart of the campus, the central courtyard known as Muktangan, is where energy meets expression. It serves as a vibrant gathering space for informal games, friendly rivalries, and social interaction. Volleyball and basketball courts host quick matches as well as long-standing inter-batch competitions, fostering camaraderie and team spirit.

Students actively engage in sports throughout the academic year, using these spaces to unwind between classes or energise themselves after studio hours. Regular early-morning yoga sessions, along with celebrations of International Yoga Day, promote mindfulness, flexibility, and holistic wellness as part of daily campus life.

Sports Facilities

Brick offers a range of indoor and outdoor sports facilities to encourage both recreational and competitive participation:

  • Dedicated outdoor play areas for football, cricket, volleyball, basketball, and athletics
  • Indoor sports zones for table tennis, carom, chess, and badminton

Mind Games 2022–23: Winners’ trophies in Table Tennis (Singles and Doubles)
