About The Course
The 5-year program equips students with the necessary skills to practice architecture while understanding the foundation and technical aspects and deploying skills in a creative and imaginative manner. The course involves about 20 mandatory subject streams along with optional electives that enrich knowledge and serve as pre-specializations. The course also includes a semester of practical training, a compressed avatar of apprenticeship.Typically, the early years focus on skill building and knowledge sharing, while the later years focus on the application of the knowledge with the skills, and thereon to further exposure & specialization.
Interior Design course at SMEF’s Brick school of Interior Design is Autonomous Graduate 4 year Diploma affiliated with Institute of Indian Interior Designers.
At SMEF’s Brick School of Interior Design, the subjects are divided under 3 labs as follows:
Strong communication skills are one of the best skillset a designer can have in their toolbox of abilities. This lab focuses on articulating the design ideas along with its details through the medium of working drawings, sketches, drafting, rendering, etc. aiming for fruitful outcomes through which the design is communicated. Different methods of presentations are approached with a wide range of skills inclined towards design followed by portfolio development.
