Brief Biography:
Rama Raghavan is an Architect based in Pune. She graduated from Sir JJ College of Architecture, Mumbai and post-graduated from CEPT University, Ahmedabad. She has worked on diverse projects on Accessibility and Sustainability, She has a strong background in Research; History, Theory and Criticism and has worked on several Research projects. She has also curated online courses in Architecture and Design for Ethos, India. She is a trained Carnatic musician and a self-taught artist who enjoys creatively feeding her interests into her projects through out-of-the-box storyboarding. Rama believes that multidisciplinary perspectives enrich design thinking and trigger critical discourses. She is passionate about expressing her ideas through Architectural Writing to enrich the perspectives she brings as a pedagogue.

Professional profile:
Rama was an architect with Nature Nurture Architects, Mumbai for 2 years wherein she worked on several projects in accessibility and sustainability; She has also worked with Dar-al-Handasah, Pune for a year on large scale projects located in the middle east.

Academic Profile:
She was an Assistant professor with NDMVP College of Architecture, Nashik for one academic year and Researcher and Course Curator with Ethos, India wherein she curated diverse online courses in Architecture and Design.

Hobbies:
Rama is a trained Carnatic musician who enjoys singing light music. She is a self- taught artist and is passionate about art. She experiments with mixed media ranging from acrylics to watercolour and digital painting. She also enjoys reading and creative writing.
