Brief Biography:
Shraddha Manjrekar, Associate Professor at Brick School of Architecture an alumnus of IIT Roorkee, is an architect, planner, environment designer, educator and author of numerous articles on the practice of sustainability, built environment and architectural pedagogy.

Professional profile:
She has worked in the area of sustainable built environment for 13 years. She had been associated with TERI (The Energy and Resources Institute) Delhi, Ecofirst, Mumbai and Lunkad Realty Pune. She has worked on facilitation and documentation of various green building rating systems, including GRIHA, IGBC Green Townships, LEED Core and Shell etc. She started her career as a research associate at TERI, and then worked for green building consultancy projects of varied scale ranging from commercial complexes to large townships at Ecofirst. Later, she did ground work for implementation of these projects on site with Lunkad Realty Pune. At TERI she was part of the team who formulated National Green Building Rating System, GRIHA (Green Rating for Integrated Habitat Assessment). Her works have been appreciated by the Late Dr. Rajendra Pachauri, (Director general TERI) for her enthusiastic performance in CRSBS (Centre for Research for Sustainable Building Science). She was recognized for her outstanding contribution at Lunkad Realty Pune in year 2014.
Academic Profile:
"Shraddha joined academics with Brick School of Architecture Pune in year 2015 as an associate professor. She had contributed towards the Research and Travel Grant for three consecutive years. Her academic inclination and innovations in the pedagogy of technological subjects have been recognized by MASA (Maharashtra Association of Schools of Architecture) and she has been given bestowed with “MASA Best Teacher Award for Technology” in year 2020.
She has been Chief Examination Officer in the institute. She has chaired the “Specification Writing” subject for all the architectural colleges of Savitribai Phule, Pune University. As she has experience in sustainable building science, Bharati Vidyapeeth, Pune and D.Y. Patil College of Architecture invite her time to time for examining students of Masters of Environmental Architecture.
At present, she is a coordinator of IQAC (Internal Quality Assurance Cell), and has been a key person in NAAC accreditation. "
